Only you is one of my favorite movies. It’s one of my “traveling” movies – I watch it at home when I want to feel like I’m traveling, and sometimes I’ll watch it on the plane when I am actually traveling. I have dreams of staying at La Sirenuse at some point in my life! Here’s hoping I can make that dream a reality! If I do, I’ll be sure to follow up!

I saw Only You when I was just 14 years old. I fell in love with the movie due in large part to the scenes in Positano. I have talked about going to Italy my whole life. It is literally my childhood dream. When I was in colleges parents allowed me to go if I could find a friend to I with me… But I could not. I later got married and had a few children. Only You is still my favorite movie. I still dream of laying by your pool in the Italian sun with all the beautiful people around me, and dashing down the stairs in my white dress. Last year I had an impromptu opportunity to travel to italy to chaperone a college age neighbor who wanted to go. It was an amazing trip, but I’m still not complete. I never made it to La Sirenuse, Positano or anywhere near the Amalfi Coast. Finding this post today just reminded me of my childhood dream. Your words made me smile as I pictured these scenes in my head. I will get there, someday.
