Dear friends and guests, we are about to reopen! I was at Le Sirenuse on a sunny Winter’s day last week and took these pictures, thinking that it might be fun to show you what the hotel looks like when you are not there. This year we are redoing part of the pool terrace façade, and we’re turning six small rooms into three beautiful junior suites. We’re also completely refurbishing the Champagne Bar, building a brand new spa suite for couples, and changing the marble steps at the beach exit stairway along with some minor routine maintenance work.

Our new facade!
On the 27th March we’ll be welcoming our beloved Sirenland writers for a week, as we do every year, so we definitely have our work cut out for us. Every year, I’ll tell you, the opening transformation amazes me—the hotel looks like this right up until the very last day! And then, quite literally overnight, it becomes the spotlessly beautiful Le Sirenuse many of you know and love. On April 2nd we officially open the season.
Ciao!

Bravo! It’s beautiful. Isn’t renovation work fun (ha!)? The improvements sound delightful…I will have to enjoy several more glasses of Champagne than usual to inspect the new bar properly. See you in July.
